When my niece Lainey was three and started taking dance classes, I told her when she turned 13 I'd take her to New York so she could go see Broadway. Well, she turned 13 on Sunday and we're off to the Big Apple tomorrow.
I am so excited about watching her see all the big city sites and just the two of us spending time together! And I'm really glad that her brother Tyler doesn't remember that I told him I'd buy him a corvette when he turned 16 (which he does in September!!)
